New Patio, Steps & Fire Pit Installation in Edwardsville, IL

Our clients in Edwardsville, IL came to us asking for a solution to their aging deck, and we worked together to come up with a plan to replace it with a beautiful new patio. They also wanted to add outdoor steps as well as a fire pit to their property. The first step was to meet with the clients so that we could plan out the project. Once we settled on a plan, our next step was to install their new steps and fire pit. Once the steps and fire pit were completed, we moved on to installing the patio.

The Planning & Prep Process

We believe that a proper outdoor renovation project needs to be planned out from the start. That's why we always meet with our clients to discuss their goals and make sure that the project they are signing up for will meet them all. For this particular client, they wanted a new patio, outdoor steps, and a fire pit. We told them about all of our options and helped them choose ones that would meet all of their needs. Once they settled on everything, we utilized our design software to create a 3D rendering to show them exactly what their project would like when it was finished. Here are some of the things that our clients were able to visualize using this software:

Once our clients decided on the materials and design they wanted for their patio, steps, and fire pit, they signed off on the project and we were able to get to work. Once the planning process was completed, we got started on the prep work, which mainly consisted of tearing down the current deck so that we had a blank slate that we could work with.

We Installed Outdoor Steps & a Fire Pit

The first part of this project that we completed was installing the outdoor steps. Our clients decided on using Siloam stone slabs for their steps. Our technicians got right to work and made sure that they were installed perfectly so that they looked great and were strong and steady.

Once the steps were completed, we got started on the fire pit. Our clients wanted to use a Belgard western stone circular fire pit. We carefully installed this fire pit to ensure it not only looked beautiful but also functioned correctly. When we were finished, these new additions truly brought out the beauty of their property and became instant focal points.

Building the Flagstone Patio

Our clients decided to replace their aging deck with a brand-new flagstone patio. We worked hard to make sure the installation went smoothly. When we were done, the finished product looked absolutely fantastic. What's more, the patio fit in perfectly with the design of the firepit and steps, resulting in a cohesive outdoor area that blended form and function.
