Patio, Fire Pit, & Landscape Bed Installation in Jerseyville, IL

Our clients in Jerseyville, IL contacted us because they wanted to enhance their outdoor living space. At the time, they had a large backyard, but it was a blank canvas that needed some work to turn it into a place where they could enjoy spending time with their friends and family. After meeting with them, we decided that we would install a retaining wall on their property to create some flat space so we could install a patio. They also wanted to install a fire pit on their patio so they could have a place to gather around on chilly nights. They also wanted to install landscape beds in their front yard and backyard and fill them with river rocks to enhance their aesthetic appeal. Once we settled on all of the details, we got right to work upgrading their outdoor space.

We installed a retaining wall using natural stones.

Because our clients' property was built on a slight slope, we decided that the best way to address that issue and create a flat space where we could install a patio was to first install a retaining wall. We used natural stones to create their retaining wall, which they absolutely loved due to its undeniable beauty. Once the retaining wall was installed, they were left with a flat space where we could install their patio.

We Added a Patio, Fire Pit, & An Outdoor Step

Once the retaining wall was complete and we had the flat space we needed to move forward with their project, we got to work installing their patio. We used high-quality pavers to install their patio and made sure that we used the design pattern that they chose. After the patio was complete, it was time to add a fire pit. We used natural stones to create the fire pit and placed it in the corner of the patio so that they would still have room to fit tables and chairs on their patio. We also added an outdoor step on their patio to make stepping down to their main patio from the small cement area outside of their backdoor safe and easy. Our clients were thrilled with the way everything turned out and love how it makes using their outdoor space more enjoyable.

The last step of this project was to install landscape beds and fill them with river rocks.

The last step of this project was to install landscape beds on their property to enhance its aesthetics. For the front yard, we installed a large landscape bed using natural stone edging that ran the entire length of their home. We then filled it with river rocks to bring out its beauty and make it stand out. We also installed landscape beds in their backyard using the same natural stone edging and river rocks that we used for the front yard. The only difference was that we filled the landscape beds in the backyard with gorgeous arborvitae trees for privacy purposes.
